Independent stock research, built to help everyday investors act with more discipline.
Torvanta is an independent equity research company. We rate every S&P 500 company each trading day, research about 1,500 U.S. stocks, run three model portfolios (Active, Adaptive and Patient), and publish research that explains what changed and why. Our work brings together company fundamentals, market behavior and the news flow, and turns them into clear, ranked, explainable views, so you can decide what to do with your own portfolio.
Active, Adaptive and Patient model portfolios, the same research traded at three paces, each with its own holdings, turnover and cash rules. Every proposed change comes with the reasons behind it, sells listed first.
The Stock Analyst and research pages
A rating, fair value estimate, 12-month target and risk read for every S&P 500 company, and free research pages for about 1,500 U.S. stocks that bring together results, valuation, momentum, filings and recent events.
Publications
A daily market brief, weekly research and a free newsletter: what moved, what changed in the rankings, and what's coming up, written to be understood, not skimmed past.
Alerts and a running record
Updates when the evidence changes, and a side-by-side record of the model portfolios and your own, so you can judge the work on results over time.
Our research
A powerful engine, held to an honest standard.
Our research engine reads company filings with the SEC, licensed market data and the news flow every trading day. Ideas have to prove themselves on history they never saw before they're trusted, and they keep their place only while they keep earning it. Results are always shown against the S&P 500, including the periods that didn't go our way.

This started as a research question, not a product idea.
The early work wasn't building a company. It was trying to understand why the tools institutions use to turn complexity into a precise, sized decision had never really made it to someone managing their own portfolio. The gap wasn't access to information; plenty of data is public. It was synthesis: turning financial modeling, statistical analysis, value and risk weighting, live news, market sentiment, and alternative data into one coherent, actionable answer, updated every trading day. Torvanta is what came out of trying to close that gap properly, not partially.
Our Standards
We'd rather show you an honest weak result than a flattering one that doesn't replicate.
Torvanta is designed to test the signals it adopts, and the results it reports about itself, against a luck test, placebo controls, and the simplest reasonable rule. When the honest answer is "not yet significant," that's exactly what it reports, to us and to you. Confidence that hasn't been earned isn't confidence. It's a liability wearing a nice chart.
Mission
Strategy built by people, for people, and sharpened by AI.
Artificial intelligence is one part of how Torvanta works, not the whole story. It's genuinely useful, spotting patterns across more data than any person could track or synthesize, but it's one tool among many, chosen and directed by people. The rules the system runs on, its strategy and its limits are designed by people, not left to the model. Nothing here is a black box that happened to learn to trade.
The goal was never to imitate what already exists. It was to build something new, combining human judgment, honest validation, and machine intelligence in a way that gives an everyday investor the same discipline and rigor usually reserved for people managing other people's money, regardless of where they're starting from.

Torvanta is in pre-launch development and does not currently
provide services to the public. At launch, Torvanta is designed as a subscription research publication: all subscribers receive the same research and
model portfolios, and Torvanta does not know or consider any subscriber's individual financial situation or provide individualized advice. It is not registered as an investment adviser or broker-dealer, does not manage accounts, hold funds, or place trades,
and nothing on this site is an offer of advisory services or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Descriptions of the system explain how it is
designed to work; they are not a promise of results. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance, whether actual, simulated,
or paper-traded, does not guarantee future results.
