A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep information in your browser’s local storage, or keep copies of files so pages load faster. This page lists everything of that kind used by torvanta.ai and the Torvanta app (app.torvanta.ai).
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token | Cookie, necessary | Keeps you signed in (set through our sign-in provider, Supabase). Large sessions are split across numbered cookies. | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| __cf_bm | Cookie, necessary | Security and bot protection by Cloudflare, our hosting provider | About 30 minutes |
| tv-install-dismissed | Local storage | Remembers that you closed the “add Torvanta to your home screen” suggestion | Until you clear your browser data |
| torvanta_my_holdings_v1 | Local storage, only if you choose it | The positions you load to compare with the model, kept only in that browser when you tick “Remember on this device.” Never sent to Torvanta. | Until you press Clear or clear your browser data |
| torvanta-static-… | App file cache | Copies of non-personal files (icons, page code, an offline page) so the app loads faster. Never your data. | Until the app updates, or cleared when you sign out |
Payments happen on Stripe’s checkout pages, where Stripe sets its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud under Stripe’s cookie policy.
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Because the cookies above are needed for signing in and security, blocking them will stop the app from working.
If we ever add cookies or tools that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires. Questions: support@torvanta.ai. See also our Privacy Policy.
